There could be 2 reasons for this outcome:
- This can happen when pigmentation is very deep, so the first treatment has got closer to the area of pigmentation but not removed it, it may just need another couple of treatments to remove the stained skin.
- This can also happen when the area has been over-treated. Make sure you only treat pigmentation with a 5-second treatment and for darker skin types a soft freeze (one freeze cycle). If you feel you have over-treated the area, give the skin time to heal and get the client to use a melanin-inhibiting product such as Innoaesthetics MeLine Spot Homecare Product. After 6 months you can go back to doing a soft freeze treatment.
