How many lesions would you normally treat in one CryoPen session?

When it comes to CryoPen sessions, it's crucial to prioritize the client's skin health and ensure optimal healing.

For the initial session, we recommend treating a maximum of 3 lesions, if it's on the face and the client has a skin type of 4 or above only do 1. This cautious approach allows us to gauge how the skin responds and heals.

As your experience grows and you become more familiar with your client's skin, you can gradually increase the number of lesions treated in a single session. For small body lesions, you can treat up to 12 at once, but it's essential to keep them concentrated on one side of the body. This helps clients manage them more effectively, especially during activities like showering.

However, if the lesions are larger, it's advisable to limit the number to a maximum of 6 per session. Similarly, on the face, we recommend treating a maximum of 6 small lesions or 3 larger ones to ensure proper healing and minimize discomfort for the client.

While it might be tempting to treat as many lesions as possible, it's vital to prioritize quality care over quantity. We must always consider the client's ability to care for the treated areas post-session. Treating too many lesions can overwhelm them and hinder proper aftercare, potentially leading to complications.
